A pastor was asked to call on a woman in a psychiatric hospital and pray for her. After his visit, he thought how good it would be for somebody to go there regularly and pray for the residents. The “somebody” turned out to be him. On a table in one of the wards, he put up a sign saying “Free Prayer.” Later he recalled, “Suddenly I had 15 people standing in line to get prayed for.”
Prayer is ministry everyone can and should be involved. Yes, there are some who are gifted in intercessory prayer, but all of us can pray for each other, for our family, for our church, for our friends, co-workers, and neighbor, and for our nation. You can pray while you are driving, showering, walking, exercising, and even as you fall asleep.
I pray for my church people by name. I would like to offer to you “FREE PRAYER”. Request on our website or post it on our facebook wall. Again, it is FREE and there is no strings attached! No hidden agenda and no fees! Absolutely, positively FREE!!!
